A bit about me...
Be rave!
Hello,
I thought I would do a quick introduction – and be brave (I initially typed “be rave” and I think I might hold onto that motto too!).
I’m Grace. I’m a work-from-home-stay-at-home-writer-mother. I know there are many of us – and I follow a fair few here on Substack! A little voice in my head is asking me if I need to set up a Substack page right now (I’ve actually had a sleepy account for about two years, I just didn’t know what to do with it, and probably wasn’t in the right postpartum headspace, to be honest). I don’t need to, but I want to, and it’s never the right time, so I’m just going to carry on carrying on. I came across some good advice recently, “movement, not perfection”, so I’m going with movement!
I’ve been working as a creative writing facilitator for several years now, and I’m currently training with the Irish Poetry Therapy Network to become a poetry therapy facilitator.
I hope Wild Self Poetry will be a place where poems (or prose or lyrics, even images) will stir something within the reader – that’s you – and provide a starting point for y/our own personal writing journey.
I’ll (possibly) share some of my own work along the way, and I hope you will too…
Be rave!
Grace
